What A Win. Extreme Choice in the Blue Diamond

First of all I have to talk about why no one received tips Saturday Morning, I sent out the email for my Saturday set. In the email I had a link to my site but because I had shortened it my email did not get sent out. I didn’t realise that had happened until Sunday arvo so I apologise there I hope you all found plenty of winners.

Topbetta had a massive tournament on Saturday

Over the last few weeks I have started using Topbetta, they are not your average bookies. While they are a bookmaker their main focus are on betting tournaments. These tournaments work by firstly you buy a ticket, they range from being free to about $200, obviously the higher the buy in the higher the prize pool. You are then given a certain amount of ‘betta-bucks’ these are your funds for the tournament they work just like normal funds where you place a bet on your runners and if they win they are paid out. depending on the size of the prize pool at the end of the tournament you are ranked depending on your betta bucks and given cash prizes.

On Saturday Topbetta had a tournament with a $100K prize pool and the winner got 50K, user ‘Philup’ spent $200 on a buy in ticket and another $200 rebuy when he had run out of betta bucks to win 50K. I wonder how many of my followers turn $400 into $50,000 on Saturday. I’ll be playing these tournaments so if you want to take me on Sign Up Here, and you’ll see my username on there as WinningPunter.

Winx At Randwick

Another fairly biased track at Randwick on Saturday, during the week there was a little rain and the track was labelled soft so they decided not to water the track. The track dried up very well and we ended up having a very hard track, horses not on or near the pace, or sticking to the rail had no chance at all. Well that is except for the superstar mare Winx who managed to get up again to make it 7 in a row. She didn’t parade that well in the ring so it will be interesting to see how she goes next start, Chris Waller has said she won’t go up to 2000m before the QE but it would take a brave punter to back against her.

Winx now 7 in a row

Oakleigh Plate

Flamberge has set a weight carrying record in the Oakleigh Plate being the first horse to carry more than 57kg when he stormed to victory at $31 with 58kg on board. In my Oakleigh Plate Preview I said that even though he had the ratings and speed to win he had to much weight, my second, third and fourth pick ran into the placings but miss Flamberge unfortunately.

Flamberge carried a record weight to win

Extreme Choice – Blue Diamond

A few weeks ago I wrote an article Extreme Choice The Best 2yo? and wow didn’t he do it impressively on Saturday. Out two and three wide the trip he still at plenty in the tank as he went on to win by 1-3/4 Lengths over stable mate Flying Artie. Extreme Choice now heads to the Golden Slipper as favourite. Capitliast resumes on Saturday in the Toddman Stakes, with the Golden Slipper in three weeks its become a mouth-watering race with Extreme Choice, Capitalist and Astern all looking like stars.

Anyone out there who like me is constantly getting restricted by douchebag bookies, give the guys at Madbookie a go, today I had $200 on a dog at $8.50 when it had shortened into $5.50 on all the other corps and I was let on no worries. Have never had any issues about bet restrictions with these guys, despite my account being a winning one, although they have made a bit of money off me these last few weeks. Anyone that signs up here will get a matched bonus up to $333 and on Monday’s they give you a bonus bet if you had a losing week. Just to sweeten the deal a little these guys are 100% Aussie owned and run as well.
